Physical or Physic Therapy

Physical therapy or physiotherapy  is a health science  profession  concerned with  the prevention and  treatment of physical impairments or disabilities , the promotion of  mobility ,functional ability  and  quality of life   through  evaluation  and physical intervention. It is carried out by physical therapists (sometimes abbreviated to PT )

Neurophysiotherapy  concerns  with individuals who have a neurological disorder or disease such as  stroke,  multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, facial palsy ,brain trauma secondary to accidents and age-related dementia.  Physiotherapy can address many of these impairments and aids in restoring and maintaining function, slowing disease progression, and improving quality of life. The techniques involve in neurological physical therapy are wide ranging . There are  muscle stretching techniques , body and balancing exercise  and  various therapeutic activities . The remediation plan will be determined  by the   individual’s conditions .

Orthopedic Physical therapy
Orthopedic physical therapists diagnose, manage  and treat disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system  such as neck and back pain , shoulder locked , hip and joints  pain , arthritis, sprains, strains  which  including rehabilitation after orthopedic surgery.
Joint and spine mobilization/manipulation,  therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular techniques, muscle reeducation, hot/cold packs,  electrical muscle stimulation  and manual techniques   are modalities  that are often used to expedite recovery  ,to promote  mobility and quality of life.

Geriatric physical therapy
Geriatric physical therapy  focuses on the older adults who have the following  problems of  hip and joint replacement  , arthritis, osteoporosis,  Alzheimer's disease, balance disorders, incontinence, etc.

Our treatment goal is to improve the functional ability , reduce  pain and increase the mobility in individual  in order to lead to a happy and healthy life.
